He started having severe chest pain from yesterday afternoon. As usual took some medicine for ‘ gas’.
It’s so surprising to see patients mistaking chest pain for ‘gas’ so often. Reached emergency in late night in spite of living within 10 -15 km of hospital.

And primary angioplasty performed successfully today early morning.

Only risk factor he has in such young age is smoking.

So please don’t think of chest pain as ‘gas’ and waste precious hours. More one delays in seeking medical consultation, more Heart muscle dies. ECG is a MUST On left is pre procedure angiogram. Showing critical 95% stenosis (‘Block’ in common parlance ) of main artery of heart and on right is post angiplasty angiogram, stenosis has been fixed by placing a stent.

Wish he reached hospital 3-4 hrs earlier !!!
